一)学习目标:
1语言目标:掌握本单元词汇,听懂、掌握谈论中外不同国家文化的语言材料。
2 技能目标:能听懂语言材料,掌握听的技巧;能读懂介绍中外不同文化的文章。
3 情感目标:通过阅读短文等活动,培养学生阅读兴趣。通过本单元的阅读,培养学生的文化意识,陶冶思想情操。
二)教学重难点 1.Words and expressions in this class
2. How to answer the questions freely using the target language.
3.Master the usage of key sentences structure.
三) 教学准备: teaching cards , pictures , a tape recorder 四) 教学过程
Step1:Leading in-Warm-up
Let’s enjoy a video.
Show some pictures of theMid-Autumfestival .Ask the students some questions: 1).Do you like the Mid-Autumn festival 2).Do you eat mooncakes
3)What do you do on the Mid-Autumfestival Step2:Presentation
1.Ask the Ss to read the text by themselves.Full moon,full feelings
2.Ask the Ss to find the keys to the two questions 3. Before you read
Let’s look at the photo, the questions in 3a and the title to the story on page 11. Then answer the questions below. 1.)Who is the girl in the picture
2.)What’s the meaning of “Full Moon, Full Feelings” 4. Listening
Listen to the tape once to try to master the main idea of the passage.
5.Careful reading
Tell the Ss to help each other and master the whole passage: 1)Translate the text into Chinese.
2)Underline some phrases and recite them.
Step3:Practice
1.Read Para. 1 and answer the questions below.
1). What do we eat on Mid-Autumn Festival
2).What’smooncakes look like
3).Why we eat themonMid-Autumn Festival 2.Read Para.
2 and find What they have done.
3.Read Para. 3 and fill in the blanks(3C)
4.After you read
Ask the Ss to retell the text . Fill in the blanks and then read it.
Step4: Extension
Let the Ss know some other traditional folk stories about Mid-Autumn Festival, enjoy some pictures of two traditional folk stories.
Step5: Competition
Let Ss do exercises about objective clauses and exclamatory statements. Choose a number and answer the question quickly in pair.
Step6: Homework
1.Read the passage “Full Moon, Full Feelings ” again, and write down your ”full
feelings” about Mid-autumn Day.(About 200 words)
2. Preview the new words we will use in the next lesson.
