  《How much are these socks?》教案及教学设计:

  教材分析

  本单元要求学生能正确使用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设,用will谈论结果。Section A主要学习含if条件状语从句的主从复合句的用法。Section B安排了许多听说读写的任务,以提高学生的语言综合运用能力。

  学情分析

  学生在小学阶段和七年级学习了一些一般现在时和一般将来时的用法,这些都为顺利学习如何运用主从复合句进行信息交流奠定了知识基础。学生在运用本课时内容时,可能在if后的条件句要用一般现在时表将来上出现错误。

  目标

  1. 通过听练习,能准确提取材料中使用的if条件状语从句的主从复合句的表达方式;

  2. 能准确说出并运用if 引导的条件状语从句形成的表达。

  3.以角色扮演的形式,结合自身实际编写对话并能以正确的语言、语调运用句型If you …, you’ll…来谈论事情的结果。

  评价任务

  Assessment 1以同桌对话的形式运用从听力材料中提取的if条件状语从句的主从复合句的表达方式。

  Assessment 2说出if 引导的条件状语从句的表达方式。

  Assessment 3小组竞赛以最快速度写出图片中的if 引导的条件状语从句。(检测对if 引导的条件状语从句的表达方式的识记及运用)

  Assessment 4同桌合作编写对话并以角色扮演的方式讨论事情的结果。(检测学生是否能够准确运用If you …, you’ll…句型)

  Assessment 5学生完成练习。(检测学生是否掌握如何来讨论事情的结果及能否正确了解其运用语境)

  教学过程

  StepⅠ Lead-in (3 minutes)

  Task 1 Ask some questions. T: What will happen if you are going to do too much work? S: If I am going to do too much work, I will get tired.

  StepⅡ Presentation (7 minutes)

  Task 2 Show some pictures to present new structure: If it is sunny this Sunday, I’ll go fishing. Ask several students:

  What will you do if it is sunny this Sunday? If I have much money, I will buy a big house. What will you do if you have much money?

  Practice with the students.

  StepⅢ Listening and Speaking (10 minutes)

  Task 3 Point out the statements and the responses in activity 1a. Tell Ss to listen to the recordings and complete the responses.

  Task 4 Take about the picture again in pairs to check the answers to listening.

  Assessment 1 Check how many students can understand the listening material fully.

  Task 5 Let Ss read the two sentences below. Make sure they know what to do. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the right answers.

  Task 6 Observe the phrases given in the PPT, and speak out how to talk about consequences.

  Assessment 2 Check how much the students can remember to describe how to talk about consequences.

  Assessment 3 Group competition: Describe how to talk about consequences according to the pictures in the PPT.

  StepⅣ Listening and Oral Practice (15 minutes)

  Task 7 Let Ss read the phrases and questions below. Tell Ss that they should answer the questions with the proper phrases.

  Task 8 Make conversations about how to talk about consequences in pairs to practice the structures.

  Assessment4 Check how many students can use the sentence structures to communicate.

  StepⅤ Summary and Feedback (10 minutes)

  Task 9 Summarize what you have learnt in the class.

  Task 10 Do the following exercises.

  Assessment 5 Check if students can describe how to talk about consequences.
