  《Don’t eatin class.》教学设计:

  1.知识目标

  1).让学生识记下列的单词和短语

  rule, sneaker, in class, in the hallways, in the classrooms, have/has to do, for gym class, on school nights, Dr Know, take my dog for a walk, be in bed, by ten o’clock , wash my clothes, help my mom make dinner, no talking, turn off the lights, waste water, talk loudly.

  2). 让学生掌握下面的句型

  Can we eat in school?

  We can eat in the cafeteria, but we can’t eat in the classroom.

  Can students wear hats in school? Yes, they can. / No, they can’t.

  2. 能力目标

  1).复习,巩固“祈使句”的用法。(肯定,否定形式)

  2).学习“can” 表许可的用法。

  3).掌握“have/ has to”的表达方式及提问和问答。

  3. 情感目标

  能用英语表达和制定某些规则。

  1.“can”表请求,许可的用法是本单元的重点。

  2.情感动词“have to”有第三人称单数的变化形式“has to”,还有时态的变化, 如:“Do you have to …?/ Does he have to…?”。

  3.肯定祈使句是省略掉主语的原形动词开头; 否定祈使句则是在肯定祈使句前加上“don’t”。

  4.注意“No + doing”的表达结构

  教 学 流 程

  Period 1 (1a~1c)

  步骤1 : warming up and revision

  教师进教室后,使用祈使句请学生们完成一系列动作:

  Please stand up/ sit down.

  Close the door , please.

  Look at me and listen to me.

  Don’t open your books .

  Don’t talk.

  Let’s begin our class.

  学生听教师的指令完成各种动作,教师也可将指令写到黑板上,让学生从视觉上考察祈使句的特点。

  步骤2 : presentation

  T: Where are you ? Are you in the video arcade? S: No, we’re in the classroom.

  教师出示书上1a 的图片,向学生提问。

  a. 指着图上奔跑的男孩提问

  T:What’s the boy doing? S: He’s running.

  T: Where is he running? S: He’s running in the hallways.(板书,教读)

  T:Can you run in the hallways? S: No, I can’t.

  T: So please don’t run in the hallways.(板书,教读)

  = You can’t run in the hallways.

  学生跟读数遍,明白祈使句和“can”的表达含意。

  T:Why is he running in the hallways? S: He’s late.

  T: Oh, he’s late for class.(板书,教读)

  You can’t arrive late for class.(板书,教书)= Don’t arrive late for class.

  b. 指着图中的女孩问

  T: Is she eating in the classroom? S: Yes, she is.

  T: Can you eat in the classroom? S: No, we can’t.

  T: You can’t eat in the classroom or in class ? (板书,教读)

  = Don’t eat in the classroom or in class.

  注意“in the classroom”和 “in class”在表达含义和形式上的不同。

  c. 指着带耳机的男孩

  T: Look, the boy with headphones likes rapping very much. But he isn’t listening to the teacher. So the teacher is very angry.

  Remember: Don’t listen to the music in class or in the hallways. =You can’t listen to music in class or in the hallways. (板书,教读)

  d. 指着相互打斗的男孩

  T: The two boys aren’t friendly. They’re fighting. (板书,教读)

  Don’t fight. =You can’t fight. (板书,教读)

  教师把这些句子板书在黑板上,并请学生大声整齐地读祈使句和“can’t”句型,并让学生注意两种句型表达形式的不同和转换,“Don’t …=You can’t…”;并对学生说:These are our school rules. (板书,教读) You can’t break the school rules. Don’t break the school rules.(板书,教读)

  步骤3 : Practice

  a. T: Now, each of the students is breaking one of these rules.

  Please finish 1a.

  学生看图,完成1a的内容,检查答案并大声朗读校规。

  b. 听录音,完成1b,选出四位学生都违反了哪条校规;听之前,学生要读会英文名。

  c. 请两位学生朗读1c部分的句型;要求学生两人一组对话表演,SA扮演外校转来新生,SB告知本校校规。(学生可经过讨论,多说出他们想到的校规,不必只限于书上;教师应给予帮助)

  Period 2(2a~4)

  步骤1 : warming up of revision

  T: What are the rules at your school?

  学生使用“can”或祈使句表达各条校规;其中老师可引出“eat in the cafeteria outside”的表达。

  步骤2 : Practice

  a. T: Christina is an exchange student. She doesn’t know the rules. Let’s listen, what activities they’re talking about?

  学生听第一遍时,完成2a;第二遍时,完成2b;

  b. 请学生领读2c部分,看着2a完成的表格,理解2c活动的要求;分成小组针对2a进行问答;

  步骤3 : Presentation

  a. 要求学生看着3a的图片

  ①T: What class are the students having? S: P. E

  Yes, they’re having gym class. (板书,教读)

  You have to wear sneakers for gym class. (板书,教读)

  学生仔细跟读,理解并记住“必须做什么”用“have to”的表达.

  T: Do you have to wear sneakers for gym class?

  S: Yes, I do. (板书,教读)

  学生了解“have to”的疑问句型变化形式。

  ②T: At school, you have to wear uniforms every day. (板书,教读)

  Do you have to wear uniforms at school?

  S: Yes, I do.

  Do you have to wear uniforms on weekends?

  S: No, I don’t.

  You don’t have to wear uniforms on weekends. (板书,教读)

  学生了解“have to”否定句型的变化形式。

  b. 学生看图,完成3a部分。

  c. 教师提问,检查答案。

  Do they have to wear the uniforms every day?

  Do they have to clean the classroom every day?

  Does he have to wear sneakers for gym class?

  教师告诉学生“have to”和“can”的区别;学生注意“have to”和“can”的概念和用法;掌握“have to”的三种形式“has to”及句型转换。

  步骤4 : Practice

  学生分小组用“can”和“have to”写出几条班规,并相互交流。

  Period 3 Section B (1~2c~4)

  步骤1 : Presentation

  a. 学生看着1部分的图片

  T: What day is it today? Ss: It’s Tuesday.

  T: The boy is going out on school nights. (板书,教读)

  学生理解“school nights”的含义。

  Can you go out on school nights?

  Ss: No, We can’t.

  T: Yes, in China, the students can’t go out on school nights.

  So please don’t go out on school nights.

  b. 请学生朗读1部分的“rules”,并完成1的内容。

  c. 学生听磁带完成2a,2b部分。

  步骤2 : Practice

  Period 4(sectionB 4)

  a. 教师请学生看到完成的表格,学生两人一组,进行问答训练。

  S1: Can Emily watch TV after school?

  S2: No, she can’t.

  S1: Does Dave have to do his homework after school?

  S2: Yes, he does.

  b. 教师将2c和4组合,鼓励学生说出自己的家规并相互交流。

  S1: I have to take a walk after supper.

  Jenny, do you have to take a walk after supper?

  S2: Yes, I do.

  T: What do you think of the rule?

  S: I think it’s good for our health. We love it.

  Period 5(3a~Selfcheck)

  步骤1: Presentation

  a. T: Boys and girls, I have a friend ―Zhao Pei. She’s not happy, why? She has too many rules in her house. So she never has any fun.

  老师讲解“never”的含义和用法。

  b. 学生自己阅读,找出“the rules in Zhao Pie’s house”

  c. 学生掌握下列短语和单词的用法:

  meet friend, take dog for a walk, be in bed, by ten o’clock, wash clothes, later

  步骤2 : Practice

  a. 让学生看着自我测试第三部分的插图,想象自己是Fraser家的小孩,小组讨论这家的家规。

  b. 教师给予学生必要的帮助:talk loudly, turn off the lights, waste water

  c. 要求学生根据“the family rules in Frasers’”写一封信给Dr Know.

  步骤3 : learning and writing

  a. 让学生看着3b的插图,为图书馆制定各种制度;必要时,给予帮助:wet umbrellas

  b. 将学生制定的各种制度板书到黑板上,再换成以“No”开头的表达;

  You can’t talk. =Don’t talk. =No talking.

  c. 让学生观察,总结三种表达的特点。
