Environmentalproblems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example,cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas isgiven off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste wateris being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, wecan find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening ourexistence.

The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves andfor our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realizedthese problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by thegovernment. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will besolved in the near future and our home will become better and better.

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve ourenvironmental problems. For instance, new laws must be passed to place strictcontrol over industrial pollution, the pub!ic must receive the education aboutthe hazard of pollution and so on. We hope that all these measures will beeffective and bring back a healthful environment.
