“The whips snapped, the sled bells tinkled, the sleds slid on wards.”

Respect animalsAfter reading this book, I find it important to respect animals. In this book,. Dogs were less likely to be treated like dogs. There were more like goods or servants. There were sold for money. They were used to pull the sleds day after day without stop. The humans even used clubs to abuse them.In fact, animals are our friends. We are in the same boat. We need them to help us. They deserve our respect.
The fate of the dogBuck lived an easy life at first, but then he was taken to the north to pull the sled. He faced all kinds of problems and he solved them with his courage and wisdom. He learnt the rule of the primitive world. He tried to fit in the world. He had different masters in at different time and finally he returned to nature. It’s his fate.Through this story, I learnt that we should be brave enough to face all kinds of difficulties in our life and be clever enough to learn something new and fit in the new environment. We should set goals for our future and try our best to achieve them. We will be heroes of ourselves.
